QUALIFICATION DESCRIPTION

If you have experience in the supervision of work health and safety practices on site, Master Builders can help get your skills, knowledge and experience recognised.

Master Builders BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety in-class training and assessment program is designed to enable those responsible for the supervision and management of work health and safety practices on construction sites to improve their safety management skills and regulatory knowledge.

Upon successful completion of this program, you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification in BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.

DELIVERY

In Class Training and Assessment

This program is delivered in four (4) modules over eight (8) classroom days. During the program, you will be assessed on structured knowledge questions, written project-based tasks and performance of practical tasks.

DURATION

This program is delivered over eight (8) classroom days. You will be required to attend all classes and complete all assessments within 12 months of your first class.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Master Builders applies the following entry requirements:

• You have a minimum of two (2) years full-time (or equivalent) experience in a work health and safety related role (experience must be within the last ten (10) years)
• You have a valid White Card (general construction induction card)
• You are currently working on active projects
• You are able to provide the details of two (2) referees that have worked with you for 12 months or more and can confirm your work history/experience (Referees must be a currently licenced builder, construction manager or site foreman)
• You are able to answer at least 65% of the technical industry questions correctly during your application process

FEES

This program may be subsidised by NSW Government under Smart and Skilled. The following eligibility criteria apply for this subsidy:

• You are 15 years or older
• You are no longer attending school
• You live or work in NSW
• You are an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident or a humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen

If you are eligible for the government subsidy, your student fee will be determined by NSW Government.

A general guide to fees for this course is as follows:

If you do not hold a previous qualification	from $1,580*
If you do hold a previous qualification	from $1,850*
If you are not eligible for the NSW Government subsidy	$2,750 (members) / $3,000 (non-members)

Master Builders can only offer Smart and Skilled places for those who live and/or work in the Sydney Metropolitan area and the Newcastle region. This subsidised training is strictly limited and is subject to eligibility criteria. For the best chance to access to this subsidy, apply now!

Payment of a $1,000.00 enrolment fee is required upon enrolment, and remaining fees are due one month after commencement of the program. All participant fees are GST exempt. Upon successful enrolment, Master Builders will confirm your fee for this course.
