NSW Government Smart and Skilled Program

Subsidised courses are available throughout NSW under the Smart and Skilled Program. Master Builders has a contract with the NSW Government (Department of Industry) to be able to offer and provide training and assessment programs under this program. 

To be eligible for any government-subsidised Smart and Skilled training courses, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You are at least 15 years old
  • You live or work in NSW
  • You are an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident or a humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen
  • You are no longer attending school

If you are eligible for the Smart and Skilled program, you will be required to pay the Smart and Skilled Student Fee, this is a one-off fee for the whole qualification (fees are subject to your eligibility and whether you hold a previous qualification).

Master Builders RTO staff are available to answer enquiries related to government funded courses. It is important to note that participants may be required to pay course fees for subsidised courses.
