Course Description

Learn how to respond quickly in a health or safety incident, or any incident where someone may be injured or require first aid treatment. The course is relevant for all workers, and is a useful skill to have in any family, community, or workplace environment. Training covers identifying risks and hazards, WHS requirements and legal issues, incident/accident reporting, confidentiality, welfare of the casualty and many more!

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:

  • HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID003 Provide First Aid

Delivery & Assessment

This course is delivered & assessed both online and face to face in a classroom through written assessments, practical assessments & observation activities

Entry Requirements

There are no educational entry requirements for this course however participants must:

  • Be at least 15 years of age
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English, as assessments must be undertaken in English
  • Bring original identification on the morning of the course

Duration

  • One day  – 8:30am to 4:30pm

Fees 

The fee for this one day course is:

  • $139 per person for Master Builder’s Members
  • $159 per person for Non-Members
  • (All fees are GST exempt)
